Voice of Istiqlal (Voist) is an organization under Management Board of Great Mosque ofIstiqlal. It aims to empower society and support the Vision of New Istiqlal to become amodern, professional and global mosque.

Mosque as a faith-based organization (FBO) has played important roles andfunctions to be parts of solution of existing problems at local, national andinternational levels.

With the New Vision of Istiqlal, the mosque has initiated and developed variousstrategic activities in the fields of worship, education and training, social andeconomic empowerment, providing facilities and services, establishing internationalnetwork. These five main areas will continue to be developed in the period of fiveyears (2020-2024). It applies “pentahelic approach” or partnership with:governmental organization/institutions, academicians, NGOs/CSOs, Private sector,Media and International organizations (e.g. Embassies, mosques, etc.)
